Adopt a pair of cats Meet pairs of cats ready for adoption! Keeping cats that have a close bond can be even more satisfying than a single cat. The cats on these pages have formed a close bond - one that would be too distressing to break. They must be adopted together.
There may be cats available we haven't yet advertised on these pages. You can always contact us to get the latest information.
- Before you visit, please read our adoption process & donation fees pages.
- Photos are taken shortly after a cat arrives. PLEASE allow for the fact that they had just moved in, and might not have been at their best!
- We update each cat's profile as we get to know them. Sometimes it's hard to assess their nature until they've settled in - so it's worth checking cats you've seen before, for the latest information on their personalities.
- If you're looking for a specific type of cat (age, temperament etc) please contact us and we'll let you know if something suitable comes in. We keep "Cats Wanted" requests for 3 months.
- When adopting a cat to go with an existing cat, it is always a good idea to let them be in a similar age range to be thinking on the same level, for instance a 3 month old kitten would drive a 12 year old mad!. Compare ages to humans here!

Every Monday, after a busy weekend finding homes for cats, we book in new cats to come to us for rehoming. There are loads of new cats coming in the next week. WATCH THIS SPACE FOR NEW ARRIVALS!
Our paired cats section is dedicated to the memory of Malcom, one of our amazing volunteers (pictured here, cuddling a cat). Malcom passed away on 30th May 2008 after an illness. He was a kind and warm-hearted man who always made us laugh, and he adored the cats. Thank you for everything Malcolm, and rest in peace. |

15th July - a zillion Kittens! Ok, perhaps not a zillion. But it's certainly true that we have at least an oodle of kittens that need fab new homes to go to. We don't advertise them as individuals because there are just so many, and the selection available changes so quickly. However, you can click the picture on the right to see a small selection of kittens available at the time of writing...
If you're interested in adopting kittens, PLEASE read the advice on our adopting kittens page before you come and see them. |

Pansy & Kipper are a pair of loving, friendly family cats who came to us from Harlow. Kipper is black and white, and is a really sweet and friendly girl who loves her food. A bit too much perhaps - she has a tendancy to overeat if you let her! Pansy is white and black, not quite as big but just as friendly. You can tell how friendly from the quality of their photos - they wouldn't sit still for wanting to say hello!
They both love a garden but they're mostly indoor cats who like having an owner around. They should be fine with children though not with other cats, or dogs. They'd make great family cats. A note about Pansy: the reason both kitties are up for adoption is that Pansy's bladder muscles aren't as strong as they might be. When she's asleep or resting we're told she relaxes a bit too much, and leaves a small pool of wee where she was. Having said that, it hasn't happened since she's been with us.. Pansy and Kipper arrived here on 14th July 08. |
