Cat No: 1
Name: SINGLE CATS
Age: UPDATED 26th January
Sex:
Neutered: N
Likes Other Cats: Y

Every Monday, after a busy weekend finding homes for cats, we book in new cats to come to us for rehoming.

There are loads of new cats coming in the next week.

WATCH THIS SPACE FOR NEW ARRIVALS!
Cat No: 6345
Name: Wendy
Age: 1
Sex:
Neutered: Y
Likes Other Cats: Y

Wendy came to us from Romford. Her owner had dogs, and one them didn't like Wendy too much. She's quite a timid girl at the moment, but then she is just 1 year old. She is a loving, good natured cat however - she just needs a bit of time to settle. Wendy should be fine living with other cats and with dogs (cat-friendly dogs, of course) - and should also be fine with older children, 8+. Wendy arrived here on 18th November 09.
Cat No: 6405
Name: Pepsi
Age: 6
Sex: F
Neutered: Y
Likes Other Cats: Y

Pepsi is a lovely fluffy tortie lap cat who came to us from Cheshunt - her owner developed and allergy to her. She's a quiet girl who needs a quiet home, and an owner who'll give her lots of home comforts and a warm lap to sleep on. She loves sleeping on the bed too. Pepsi gets on with other cats and should be fine with older children, 8+, but she should not live with dogs. She arrived here on 5th January 2010.
Cat No: 6435
Name: Freddie
Age: 7
Sex: M
Neutered: Y
Likes Other Cats: Y

Freddie came to us from Manor Park: his owner was no longer able to look after him. He's a very friendly chap but a bit overawed by the whole Sanctuary experience when we took his photo. Freddie has three legs, having carelessly lost one when he was hit by a car. Poor Freddie! However he still managed to be something of an escape artist: having a missing leg hasn't slowed him down very much. Freddie is a smashing cat with a lovely gentle nature. He gets on with other cats and should be fine with older children, but he should not live with dogs. Freddie arrived here on 12th January 2010.
Cat No: 6436
Name: Wolfie
Age: 3
Sex:
Neutered: Y
Likes Other Cats: Y

Wolfie was a much-loved cat at his previous home in Barking, but his owner was elderly and couldn't look after him any more. Wolfie came from a multi-cat household and is a very friendly-natured boy who likes a fuss. He'd suit any caring owner! Wolfie gets on with other cats and he should be fine with older children, but he should not live with dogs. He arrived here on 12th January 2010.

Note - Wolfie could also be homed as a pair with Sam (#6437), a mate of his who came from the same home!
Cat No: 6437
Name: Sam
Age: 5
Sex:
Neutered: Y
Likes Other Cats: Y

Sam came to us from Barking: his owner was an elderly person who couldn't look after him any more. Same is a very striking-looking boy with amazing whiskers. He's a friendly, playful fella who likes a fuss and would suit any loving home. Sam came from a multi-cat household, so he gets on with other cats, but he should not live with dogs. He should, however, be fine with older children. Sam arrived here on 12th January 2010.

Note - Sam could also be homed as a pair with Wolfie (#6436), a mate of his who came from the same home!
Cat No: 6438
Name: Sylvester
Age: 3
Sex: M
Neutered: Y
Likes Other Cats: Y

Poor Sylvester's had a bit of a hard time. He came from Westwood Road in Ilford, and was found hurt after he'd been hit, which caused a hernia. This has been mended successfully and he needs no more treatment, but the whole experience has left him a bit timid and shy. He needs a patient, understanding owner who'll give him plenty of TLC and time to come around. When he trusts you he does respond well to fuss, so we think he will definitely come out of his shell in time. Sylvester gets on with other cats but should not live with dogs or children. He arrived here on 12th January 2010.
Cat No: 6442
Name: Mischief
Age: 1
Sex: F
Neutered: Y
Likes Other Cats: Y

Mischief came to us from Ilford - she was homeless, and while a neighbour took her on, she wasn't appreciated by their existing cats. And so she's here with us, looking for a nice new home! Mischief has been through a lot, so she'll need a bit of time to settle in with new owners, but she is a nice girl who likes a fuss. She is used to other cats and she should be fine with older children, though she might prefer a quiet home. She should not live with dogs. Mischief arrived here on 13th January 2010.
Cat No: 6448
Name: no name
Age: 8 months
Sex: F
Neutered: Y
Likes Other Cats: Y

This pretty little dark tortie girl hasn't had much fun lately. Her owner's cat had kittens, of which she was one, and they were all put out in the garden to live. A neighbour took in our friend here, but couldn't keep her. So she's understandably a bit timid, what with all this disruption early in her life. She'll need a quietish home and some time to settle, but we think she'll come out of her shell soon enough. She should be ok with older children, 8+, and ideally she'd like a home with other cats (she's well used to them). She should not, however, live with dogs. She arrived here on 14th January 2010.
Cat No: 6460
Name: no name
Age: 9 months
Sex: M
Neutered: Y
Likes Other Cats: Y

This black and white boy came to us from Blackmore: his owner had too many cats and dogs in the house. He's a friendly little fella but can be shy at first - he'll just need lots of love and TLC, and a bit of time to settle into a new home. We think he'll make a great companion! He should be fine living with children and he gets on with other cats. He's also used to living with dogs. He arrived here on 26th January 2010.
