This poor girl turned up as a stray in North Weald: someone had been feeding her but had cats of their own, who bullied her. Doris is a lovely girl who has obviously seen a lot of the world, and decided that she likes it (bullying cats excepted, of course!). She is very friendly and approachable and loves a good fuss and a head-rub. She hasn't been very well looked after for a while but we're quickly getting her back into shape for a nice 'forever' home. Come and meet her - you'll love her as much as we do! She should be fine living with older children, 8+, but she should not live with other cats or with dogs. She arrived here on 14th June 2010. |

This boy looks like a big ol' bruiser, and he's certainly big - but he's a gentle giant really! Jaffa was dumped with us and we don't know anything about his history, but it seems clear he's been around the block a few times and hasn't had a very stable lifestyle. He's a quiet boy in spite of his size, and he would suit a quieter home where he can settle in and get his paws under the table. He should be fine living with older children, 8+, but he should not live with dogs or with other cats. Jaffa arrived here on 14th June 2010. |

Tia came to us from Hainult, where she was found as a stray, pregnant. She is a nice girl but a little bit timid at the moment as she's only 1 and has had a bit of a rough start in life. She needs an owner with the patience to let her settle down, and plenty of love and affection. She may be best as an indoor cat. Tia should be ok living with older children, 8+, and she gets on with other cats - but she should not live with dogs. Tia arrived here on 19th July 2010. |

Mia is a pretty little tabby girl who came to us from Hainult - her owners moved house and left her behind. Mia has been living rough and hasn't had a great start in life: she is a little timid as a result. She'll need an understanding owner who will give her a bit of time and space to settle down, but we think she will make a lovely companion. Mia should be fine living with older children, 8+, and she gets on with other cats - but she should not live with dogs. Mia arrived here on 19th July 2010. |

Millie came to us from Woodford Green - her owner had asthma, and couldn't keep her any longer. Millie is a quiet cat who likes attention on her own terms. She's quite independent and would suit a home with a good sized garden. She can be playful and nosy but isn't afraid of letting you know when she wants to do her own thing! A real character, Millie should not live with young children, other cats or dogs. She arrived here on 19th July 2010. |

Woofy is a bit of a strange name for a cat, but this lovely girl isn't really strange at all. She came to us from Dagenham because her owner had to go into hospital. Woofy is a very friendly and laid-back lady. She is an indoor cat who likes her home comforts. She needs a quiet home with an owner who will understand her needs as a somewhat mature girl - that is, a nice relaxing lifestyle and a nice warm lap! Woofy gets on with other cats and she should be fine living with older children, 8+. She should not live with dogs. Woofy arrived here on 3rd August 2010. |

Aerial came to us from Waltham Abbey - his owner moved into a flat and Aerial wasn't happy there. He's a lovely, gentle family cat who needs a garden to explore, and preferably a quietish home. He loves his food (wet food especially, but, please, only a small amount of good quality dried food or he tends to get cystitis). Aerial should be fine living with older children, 8+, and he gets on with other cats. He is also used to living with dogs. Aerial arrived here on 16th August 2010. |
