Cassie

In March we had an email from Steph about a lovely little tortie and white girl named Cassie...

To everyone at the Chestnut Cat Sanctuary,

We adopted our little cat a month and a half ago from the cat sanctuary and she is just a year old. She wasn't named when we collected her, so we have now called her Cassie - she's a cute little tortie and white.

She has settled in so well since moving in. She runs around the house sometimes and can be really playful, but then she settles down and sits on our laps for ages.

One thing we found helpful for settling her in was to swap to clay litter as she prefers this. She's eating well (can't stop eating!) and seems like she couldn't be happier in her new home.

Soon she'll be going outside, which will be good as she has so much energy! She also likes sneaking up and drinking our drinks, which is a bit cheeky but she's so cute we don't mind and love having her around.

Thanks for your help and for doing such a great job looking after all the cats at the sanctuary, they all seemed really well cared for. The house cats are lovely too!
