Sponsor Us
Chestnut Cat Sanctuary is a private, voluntary organisation that relies entirely on donations and sponsorship.
Please help if you can, by sponsoring cats and pens, taking part in fundraising activities or making donations to support our ongoing rescue and rehoming work for cats and kittens!
As well as meeting our usual running costs, our goal for 2008 is to raise £2,500 so we can line our original "ready to home" cat pens with disease-resistant plastic.

Company sponsorship
For just £25 a year you can help the cats and receive a small advert, logo and web link on our site in return! We're grateful to a number of companies for their support - find out more on our company sponsors page. |

Personal sponsorship of cats and pens*
You can sponsor cats and pens with a one-off donation, or with a monthly direct debit. A laminated plaque will be affixed to a pen for all to see! To sponsor cats and pens, download our donation form (pdf format) to print out, fill in and send back to us. Or simply visit us to sort out the details. You can read about some of the kind people who've helped us on our roll of honour page! |

Sponsored walks, diets, events, donating small change... see how you could help, on our fundraising page. At the moment we're looking for people to help with collections at Pets at Home stores in Harlow and Chingford: to get involved with this, or any other fundraising activity, please contact us! |

What do we spend the money on?
There is constant pressure to pay for maintenance and improvements, food, litter, rates, utilities, wages, Vet bills, advertising and many other expenses, and the sheer volume of cats we try to help (almost 1,000 in 2007!) It costs upwards of £9,000 a month to run the Sanctuary, and we're totally dependent on your generous contributions.
Your donations have helped us to continually improve our facilities, enabling us to rescue and rehome more cats, and provide even better levels of loving care and attention while they're here. We are praised for the quality of our rescue centre almost daily by visitors who come for the first time, and our sponsors play a major role in that achievement.
* In the past we kept a record of who was sponsoring which cat on this site. These days it's simply not possible because we rehome them so quickly. That means your sponsorship will relate to a specific pen (and, therefore, you'll be sponsoring many cats!) We're happy to let you know which cats you're currently helping us to look after if you drop into the Sanctuary or give us a ring.
