Suka - a very fluffy Persian cat!

Suka, a beautiful Persian cat adopted from Chestnut Cat SanctuaryKathryn and Jonathan wrote to us about Suka, a beautiful Persian girl adopted from us in August 08.

Hi everyone at Chestnut!

Suka came home with us on 3rd August and settled into life as a pampered house cat nearly straight away.

Suka is a real character! She is very sweet, giving me little licks on my nose but just like her previous owner wrote, she can also be quite bossy and likes her own space!

She is very vocal, often at 2am in the morning, and likes the finer things in life- prawns, turkey, CAKE! She is a very fussy eater and I am always running around trying to find things she likes.

Who's the boss... hmmm!Catnip drops seem to be the 'new' thing although I think she is quite a faddy cat. Maybe that will settle with time.

It is also my first experience with a long haired cat and I love doing the grooming- she went to the pet parlour today and looks gorgeous!

Suka is fluffiness personified! (if cats can personify something... felonify?)She will need some dental treatment to help her with her eating but apart from that we are thrilled that she has come to live with us. I've attached some photos of the early days and will keep you updated. Thanks for letting us have her!

Kathryn and Jonathan Betts

So glad to hear she's getting on so well - she's a real character!
