Toby, a black and white cat adopted from Chestnut Cat Sanctuary in EssexCaroline Bell wrote to us with news of Toby, a black and white boy adopted from us just after Christmas 2008...

Dear Chestnut Cat Sanctuary,

I adopted Toby from you on 28th December and after a day spent in my shoe cupboard I'm pleased to say he is settling in really well!

Toby, a black and white cat adopted from Chestnut Cat Sanctuary in EssexHe is a lovely little cat with a very sweet nature, and loves attention and also playing with his toys and sliding up and down the laminate flooring.

He's very inquisitive and always likes to watch what I'm doing and get involved where he can, which keeps me very amused!

He's very well trained and has been such a good boy using his litter tray and his scratch post.

I am pleased to confirm that my leather sofas are still are untouched!

He's making a lovely companion for me and I'm very happy that he's settled in so well, thanks to everyone at Chestnuts!
