Adopt a pair of cats Meet pairs of cats ready for adoption! Keeping cats that have a close bond can be even more satisfying than a single cat. The cats on these pages have formed a close bond - one that would be too distressing to break. They must be adopted together.
There may be cats available we haven't yet advertised on these pages. You can always contact us to get the latest information.
- Before you visit, please read our adoption process & donation fees pages.
- Photos are taken shortly after a cat arrives. PLEASE allow for the fact that they had just moved in, and might not have been at their best!
- We update each cat's profile as we get to know them. Sometimes it's hard to assess their nature until they've settled in - so it's worth checking cats you've seen before, for the latest information on their personalities.
- If you're looking for a specific type of cat (age, temperament etc) please contact us and we'll let you know if something suitable comes in. We keep "Cats Wanted" requests for 3 months.
- When adopting a cat to go with an existing cat, it's a good idea to match their ages as far as possible. For instance, a 3 month old kitten would drive a 12 year old mad! Compare ages to humans here!

Every Monday, after a busy weekend finding homes for cats, we book in new cats to come to us for rehoming. There are loads of new cats coming in the next week. WATCH THIS SPACE FOR NEW ARRIVALS!
Our paired cats section is dedicated to the memory of Malcom, one of our amazing volunteers (pictured here, cuddling a cat). Malcom passed away on 30th May 2008 after an illness. He was a kind and warm-hearted man who always made us laugh, and he adored the cats. Thank you for everything Malcolm, and rest in peace. |

Here we have seven cats, male and female, all between 2 and 3 years old. They lived in a flat with an elderly person, and were much loved - but their owner was forced to rehome them by the landlord. They can either go as pairs or as individuals, to a home with another cat.
They're all quite shy and sweet natured and should be flat cats, because that's what they're used to! They get on with other cats (of course) and should also be fine with children, but not with dogs. Originally from Loughton, they arrived here on 11th November 08. |

Smidge and Smudge came to us from Romford - their owner moved house, and couldn't keep them. Smudge is a boy (seen here in his basket); he's the more outgoing one of the pair, very active and inquisitive - and apparently he loves playing football with pasta! He loves being petted and is a real cutie.
Smidge is a girl. and is a lot quieter. She does like a fuss in small doses, and will sit on your lap when the mood takes her! She doesn't go out much, though, except in the summer. They should both get on fine with older children, 8+, but shouldn't live with other cats or with dogs. Smidge and Smudge arrived here on 17th November 08. |

Tiger and Chewie are brothers who came to us from Harlow - their owner was going abroad, and they couldn't come too. Chewie is slightly bigger than his brother, but they're both very gentle tabby and white boys. They like their home comforts and like a good fuss! While they both enjoy being in the garden with their owner, they're not the most outgoing of cats. Chewy is an indoor cat really, and will need a litter tray at all times. They shouldn't live with dogs but they get on ok with other cats, and should also be fine with older children, 8+. Chewie and Tiger arrived here on 18th November 08. |

Emma's a tortie and white 3 year old girl, who's up for adoption (potentially) with her two little boy kittens. We say potentially because she could go to a home on her own, or even with just one kitten. But all together, the three make a good unit - she's very friendly with her two little boys, and it's lovely to see them all together. The whole family is sweet and friendly and we'd like to keep them together if possible.
Emma's two little boy kittens are just 9 weeks old, and they're very small for their age - they will need verygood care and attention, and an owner who's watchful for any problems. They're fine at the moment but they've always struggled because they had a hard start to life, and as a result may be more vulnerable than other kittens of their age. Emma came to us on 11th July 08, and her two boys were born on 3rd August. |

Meet Milly and Mickey! They're gorgeous little kittens up for adoption together, and they're a little bit special - because they are partially sighted. They're as full of beans as any kittens, but they'll need an owner who's prepared to give them extra special care and keep them safe: without good eyesight they're naturally more vulnerable than other kittens. Milly and Mitzy are brother and sister. Because of their sight problems they should be indoor/flat cats only. They came to us on 18th July 08.
