Every Monday, after a busy weekend finding homes for cats, we book in new cats to come to us for rehoming. There are loads of new cats coming in the next week. WATCH THIS SPACE FOR NEW ARRIVALS!
Our paired cats section is dedicated to the memory of Malcom, one of our amazing volunteers (pictured here, cuddling a cat). Malcom passed away on 30th May 2008 after an illness. He was a kind and warm-hearted man who always made us laugh, and he adored the cats. Thank you for everything Malcolm, and rest in peace. |

It's kitten season again, and as usual there will be a huge number of kittens that need of good homes. Exactly who we have available changes all the time, and there are far too many to list them individually. You can see a small selection of the kittens we've had recently by clicking the picture to the right.
There's a lot you need to know about adopting kittens, including:
- Kittens are almost always adopted in pairs
- Young kittens need special care and attention, and might not be suitable for you (but a slightly older cat might be)
- It makes a lot more sense to adopt a kitten from us, than to buy one from a petshop or private seller
If you're interested in adopting kittens, please read our adopting kittens page and our kitten healthcare page BEFORE you get in touch with us. |

Cat No: 5919

These two boys are a bit unsettled by the whole adoption process, as you can see, but then they've only just arrived so it's to be expected. Chewie and Loki came to us from Romford: their previous owner's son had asthma and the poor cats had to go. They are flat cats who've never been outside, and they are great with kids - real lap cats who like nothing better than to cuddle up with their owner at night. They're best mates - Chewie has long black fur and is a bit more confident - he's the one squashing Loki into the corner! Chewie and Loki should not live with other cats, o dogs. They arrived here on 5th May 09. |

Dawson and Joey are gorgeous girls who came to us from Bishops Stortford. They have been much loved cats but their owner couldn't keep them any more, so now they are up for adoption. They are a beautiful pair, real lap cats and quite happy to spend time indoors with you (though they appreciate having a garden too). They like a cuddle and qould suit a quieter home with another nice, loving owner! Dawson and Joey should not live with other cats, or with dogs - but they should be fine with older children, 8+. They arrived here on 25th May 09. |

Babe and Tom are a pair of funky cats from east London. Their owner was an elderly person who sadly passed away. Babe (nearest the camera, with the crazy whiskers) is 10 years old: she's very friendly and quite talkative, and loves a fuss. She can be a bit shy and hisses a bit when she's scared, but it's only to be expected (after all, she's just arrived here and will soon settle down). She doesn't mean any harm though, and loves having her head rubbed! Tom is 8 years old, and is her son. He's a bit more outgoing than his mum, loves a fuss and has a sweet, gentle nature. They must be homed together, and should be only pets - they should get on with older children, though (8+). Both cats haven't been looked after especially well of late, but with proper care and attention they'll soon make lovely companions. Babe and Tom arrived here on 27th January 09. |
