Every Monday, after a busy weekend finding homes for cats, we book in new cats to come to us for rehoming. There are loads of new cats coming in the next week. WATCH THIS SPACE FOR NEW ARRIVALS!
Our paired cats section is dedicated to the memory of Malcom, one of our amazing volunteers (pictured here, cuddling a cat). Malcom passed away on 30th May 2008 after an illness. He was a kind and warm-hearted man who always made us laugh, and he adored the cats. Thank you for everything Malcolm, and rest in peace. |

Poppy and Molly came to us from Harlow - their owner couldn't look after them any more. Poppy is a black and white girl who is 3 years old, rather nosy and definitely very friendly - she likes her home comforts and a good fuss. Molly is tortie and white and is 7 years old - she's an easy going lady who also likes the good things in life. Poppy and Molly would be best in a home with no other cats and no dogs, but they should be fine living with children. They arrived here on 28th January 2010. |

Simba and Bailey are brothers. They came to us from Bishops Stortford: their owner had a baby, and couldn't look after them any more. They are quiet, shyish boys who like a fuss - very gentle natured, and would suit a quieter home we think. They should be fine living with children and they get on with other cats, too, but they should not live with dogs. Simba and Bailey arrived here on 5th February 2010. Our photographer did know which one was which at some point, but has completely forgotten. Both, however, are lovely cats! |

This mum and daughter pair came to us from Tilbury - their owner had too many cats and couldn't afford to keep them any longer. They are both very friendly tabby girls: Belle, the mum, can be a little bit shy but she loves affection and plenty of cuddles. She also gets on very well with kids and would fit right into a caring family. Her daughter, Baby, is a little less confident and likes a fuss when is suits her, but she is very playful and if anything gets on better with kids than she does with grown-ups. An ideal pair for a nice family home! They get on with other cats, too, but they should not live with dogs. Belle and Baby arrived here on 3rd March 2010. |

Cat No: 6543

Bimey, here's something you don't see every day! Nelly and Tuna are a pair of gorgeous Devon Rex girlies. It's a rather unique breed if you've only been used to "normal" cats, with tight curly fur and the occasional hairless patch, and a very distinctive and curious air. We like! They came to us from Frinton on Sea because their owner's new job meant she didn't have enough time to spend with them. A real shame, as they have obviously been much-loved cats, but we applaud such a sensible and caring decision.
Anyway - Nelly and Tuna are mum and daughter and they are inseperable. Nelly is the mum, and Tuna is the girl, but in all the excitement of meeting this breed for the first time, our photographer has completely forgotten which is which. They are both, however, adorable: very human-oriented with nice gentle natures, they are very much home-loving cats. They will spend time outside but they need a properly enclosed garden, as they're not very streetwise. A quiet and loving home is what they'll both appreciate, and in return they'll be special and very loyal companions to the right owner. Nelly and Tuna should be fine living with older children, 8+, but they should not live with dogs or with other cats. They arrived here on 5th March 2010. |

This mother and daughter pair came to us from Leytonstone - their owner died, and there was no-one else to look after them. The mum (on the right, obviously) is a very friendly girl who likes a fuss and has a lovely gentle nature. Her daughter hasn't really had any human contact in her short life, so she is much more wary and will need a patient, understanding owner for her to come around. She is a very pretty little girl, though, and as she is young with TLC from a new owner we think she'll settle down soon enough. They should be fine living with children but they should not live with dogs, or with other cats. They arrived here on 9th March 2010. |

Sex: F
Neutered: Y

Eddie and Tie are a mum and daughter pair who came to us from Hatfield. Eddie is the mum, and is black and white. She's a very friendly girl who loves to sleep with you and sit on your lap - a great family cat. Tie is her daughter, and is black (and although she was awake when we took her picture, she was determined to pretend to be asleep!). She's just 3 years old and is also a nice friendly girl. Eddie and Tie are used to dogs but don't like other cats. They should be fine with children, however. They arrived here on 7th January 2010. |
