Age: 5

Neutered: Y

Sam came to us from Barking: his owner was an elderly person who couldn't look after him any more. Same is a very striking-looking boy with amazing whiskers. He's a friendly, playful fella who likes a fuss and would suit any loving home. Sam came from a multi-cat household, so he gets on with other cats, but he should not live with dogs. He should, however, be fine with older children. Sam arrived here on 12th January 2010.
Note - Sam could also be homed as a pair with Wolfie (#6436), a mate of his who came from the same home! |

Cat No: 6438
Name: Sylvester
Age: 3
Sex: M

Poor Sylvester's had a bit of a hard time. He came from Westwood Road in Ilford, and was found hurt after he'd been hit, which caused a hernia. This has been mended successfully and he needs no more treatment, but the whole experience has left him a bit timid and shy. He needs a patient, understanding owner who'll give him plenty of TLC and time to come around. When he trusts you he does respond well to fuss, so we think he will definitely come out of his shell in time. Sylvester gets on with other cats but should not live with dogs or children. He arrived here on 12th January 2010. |

This pretty little dark tortie girl hasn't had much fun lately. Her owner's cat had kittens, of which she was one, and they were all put out in the garden to live. A neighbour took in our friend here, but couldn't keep her. So she's understandably a bit timid, what with all this disruption early in her life. She'll need a quietish home and some time to settle, but we think she'll come out of her shell soon enough. She should be ok with older children, 8+, and ideally she'd like a home with other cats (she's well used to them). She should not, however, live with dogs. She arrived here on 14th January 2010. |

Cat No: 6476
Name: Dillon
Age: 1
Sex: M
Neutered: Y

Dillon is an adorable one-year old boy who came to us from Barking. He was found living on a very large roundabout on a busy junction, and in fact this is why he was so named when he came to us (after the Magic Roundabout character, who was actually Dylan, but who's counting!).
Our Dillon is a very friendly fella - a chatterbox who likes a fuss and has a very playful, inquisitive nature. He's a real live wire who would thrive in a busy family home where he'll have lots to do and lots of attention. Dillon is a strong character, too, so he may be best on his own - though he does get on ok with other cats. He should be fine living with children but he should not live with dogs. Dillon arrived here on 28th January 2010 - our apologies go to him for such a delay adding him to the website. Now he's online he won't be here for long - come and meet him and see for yourselves! |

Cat No: 6499
Name: Maebella
Age: 9 months
Sex: F
Neutered: Y

Maebella is a beautiful little 9 month old tortie girl with a certain Oriental air about her, we think. She came to us from Kent: her owner was an elderly person who couldn't look after her any more. That's because Maebella had kittens (at 9 months old!) and as a result she's looking pretty tired and thin at the moment. That will all change, of course, when she gets over being a mum. Maebella is an adorable little lady with a very friendly, playful nature. She'd make a fantastic cat for any caring home. She should be fine living with children, but should not live with cats or dogs. Maebella arrived here on 9th February 2010. |

Cat No: 6537
Name: Sooty
Age: 4

Neutered: Y

Sooty came to us from Hoddesdon because her owner moved into a care home, and couldn't take Sooty with them. She's a very friendly girl, if a little shy: all that long dark fur needs brushing and she enjoys it a lot. She's fond of scratching posts and head rubs too, and when the weather's warm she likes spending time outside. What else can we tell you? Well, Sooty eats only dry food and to wash it down, she likes drinking water - out of a glass, of course! She also has a very endearing habit of touching your arm with her paw when she wants some attention.
As you can tell, she has been well-loved by her previous owner and gives plenty of back - a lovely character and a smashing companion. Sooty should be fine living with older children and she's also used to dogs, but she should not live with other cats. She arrived here on 2nd March 2010. |

Cat No: 6538
Name: Manuka
Age: 2
Sex: F
Neutered: Y
Likes Other Cats: N
|
Manuka has the looks to match her exotic name! She came to us from Leytonstone - her owner moved to a flat and couldn't keep her any more. Manuka can be a shy girl but she does respond very well to human attention, and has a lovely friendly nature (and a nice smile, as you can see!). She needs a cat flap as she likes spending time outdoors, and she would probably suit a quieter home. Manuka should be fine living with older children, 8+, but she hates other cats and should not live with dogs either. She arrived here on 3rd March 2010. |

Cat No: 6553
Name: Winnie
Age: 2
Sex: F
Neutered: Y

Winnie is a cute little tortie and white girl who refused to keep her eyes open for her photo! She came to us from Ilford with her sister, Madonna (#6554) - and in fact she could easily be homed with her sister as a pair. Winnie's owner moved and left her behind. She can be a bit shy but she's a very friendly girl who needs plenty of fuss and human attention. She gets on with other cats and she should be fine living with children, too, though she should not live with dogs. Winnie arrived here on 5th March 2010. |

Madonna is a pretty tortie girl who was more than happy to pose for plenty of photos, just like her namesake. She came to us from Ilford with her sister, WInnie (#6553) - and in fact she could easily be homed with her sister as a pair. Madonna's owner moved and left her behind. She can be a bit shy but she's a very friendly girl who needs plenty of fuss and human attention. She gets on with other cats and she should be fine living with children, too, though she should not live with dogs. Madonna arrived here on 5th March 2010. |
